You have no right to die

By

James Bredin

Your Charter right to life, doesnít mean you have a right to die,
Euthanasia is illegal in this country and you donít know why,
Various activists want it to stay this way and never change,
Not allowed to alter the system, change the laws or rearrange.

It doesnít matter if you are due to die next year in great pain,
Euthanasia is not their game or on any political campaign,
As they claim the laws protect the vulnerable and the weak,
So stand down, wait quietly for your death in pain and be meek.

Though we have abortion clinics with little opposition,
Backed by Supreme Court appointees and feminist ambition,
As the public is spoon fed media opinions and bias,
As they pretend that they are normal, religious and pious.

They claim itís not a health care issue but say itís life and death,
The same crowd that have no worries about unborn fetus first breath,
Death should be up to the individual Ė not some judge or priest,
Itís all over when those in great agony and pain are deceased.
