The imams and the feminists

By

James Bredin

Ontarioís faith-based arbitration has given certain impressions,
Various religions will hold their own private sessions,
For disputes, divorce, custody, inheritance, due to crowded courts,
This impression of the imposition of Sharia law of sorts.

The imams and the feminists may eventually disagree,
About a man having four wives which we may eventually see,
These same feminists and their abortion activists may choke,
When going out to buy a burka and this is no joke.

One of those long black burkas and itís good to get the right size,
All the way to the ground with tiny slits for the eyes,
I know what you are thinking, that this is not likely to occur,
But you donít know if politicians and the imams concur.

Because we have no binding referendums or recall here,
They can impose what they want between elections without fear,
But will we have polygamy when or if Sharia laws are imposed?
And will all the churches or just some of them have to be closed?
